JAPANESE
INSPIRED.
Neo-Japanese, Japanese traditional and custom tattooing shaped around your body and your story.
NOVA
A Mexi-American artist born and raised in San Diego, blending traditional Japanese tattooing with contemporary Japanese culture.
My creative roots trace back to shoujo anime such as NANA and Fruits Basket, which sparked my appreciation for Japanese culture, ukiyo-e and yokai folklore.
I create imaginative tattoos with charm, depth and a little bite. Whether you want a standalone piece or a larger cohesive project, I enjoy collaborating on designs that flow with the body and tell your story.

Get tattooed
Please arrive rested, hydrated and fed. We take the time needed to create a careful, high-quality piece.
Aftercare.
Great tattoos don’t end when you leave the studio. Following proper aftercare helps your tattoo heal beautifully and protects the work we’ve created together!
Wash Gently
Remove your bandage according to your aftercare instructions. Wash your tattoo gently with fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water. Pat dry with a paper towel, and never rub. (Avoid using a regular bath towel, as it can harbor bacteria)
Moisturize Lightly
After three days, you can apply a very thin layer of A&D ointment. Your tattoo should never look greasy or overly saturated as it may disruptive the healing process.
Avoid Irritation
Avoid swimming, soaking, excessive sweating, direct sunlight, scratching, or tight clothing over the tattoo until it has fully healed.
Trust the Healing
Peeling, flaking, and light itching are completely normal. Let the skin heal naturally without picking or scratching.
Healing Timeline
Most tattoos finish their surface healing within 2–4 weeks, while the deeper layers of skin can take up to 6 weeks to fully heal. Every body heals differently. If you have any concerns during the healing process, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
